Parkinson, Dodson & Cheung (formerly known as Parkinson, Dodson & Associates) is a Leicester based firm of Chartered Architects with main office based in area of Scraptoft on the outskirt of Leicester. The practice, originally found by the late Mr E Parkinson and late Mr R Dodson, has been well established since 1958, providing architectural services to a variety of individual and corporate clients throughout the British Isles.
We pride ourselves in producing schemes that reflect the client and users needs. Our sensitive and practical approach to design, are both human in scale, user friendly and above all, build-able. All our personnel are encouraged to work closely with contractors through frequent attendance on site during the building operation. We operate a co-operation, non-confrontational approach to building procurement.
Most of our client base and commissions are generated from repeat inquiries and personal recommendation. We are able to provide a wide range of architectural services to suit client needs and work closely with other allied professions to provide a complete package, from inception to completion. We are able to work and have worked with all the major ethnic groups in Leicester and can call on consultants from these groups to provide us with specialist knowledge should these be needed.
The varied backgrounds of our personnel provide a balanced picture of cultural needs.
Our practice is registered as Chartered Architects and all our architects are members with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and are registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
